Chefchaouen’s alleys are lined with unique doors and frames. Walking this small hamlet in the Rif Mountains is almost a religious experience. Northern Africa in a pellucid form.

Gorgeous!
Reblogged this on carissa yeboah and commented:
one of my current fascinations – doors.
A vibrant collection, Kurt. These old doors could surely tell a few stories…
The doors of Morocco are fascinating. I shot hundreds of them!
Wonderful images – love the intense blues in this post…
That blue almost hurts your eyes. I’ve never seen anything like it.
Remind me of a song. “Blue” Beautiful doors and Unique.
really cool idea and nice pics
I love your pictures of doors. Doorways as you have captured them makes your imagination soar and wonder what is on the other side.
Really nice collection of door photographs. I like clicking doors as well, will put up some door pictures soon
Love to see my hometown Prague on your blog right under Chefchaouen as I am reading this 2 hours away from there and where I am heading 2 weeks from now! Since I got to Morocco I also started photographing doors everywhere so love yours!
Enchanting.
Nice doors and nice site. I’ve never seen anything like it. But I’ve never been to Africa. 🙂

Eye candy! Each one with such character.
Wonderful- they are works of art themselves.
