The name Okinawa means “rope in the open sea”, which is a rather precise description. Okinawa has 49 inhabited islands and 111 uninhabited. The following is a gallery I took from vibrant Okinawa Island.
There is nothing better than taking pictures when you have time to experiment with different types of shots. After riding my bike a few miles on Tokashiki Island, I came across Aharen Beach which was nearly deserted besides one fisherman. The island is just a short ferry ride away from the port in Naha, Okinawa. The following is a gallery of captures from my day exploring the island and its stunning coastline.
